Research Integrity/Regulatory Compliance
SDSU is committed to achieving the highest standards in its conduct of research. Through the University Research Council, standing committees implement federal, state and institutional policies associated with research compliance as well as research development and promotion. The Division of Research Affairs has oversight of regulatory assurances between the federal government and the University. These assurances are agreements that detail the responsibilities of those involved in the conduct of research to ensure the research is carried out in a manner consistent with accepted standards of ethical research practices. Research Integrity Policy
SDSU's policy on Integrity in Research and Scholarship (page 58-60) is approved by the Academic Senate as well as the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Research Integrity (ORI).
