PLF Seeks Award Nominations
The President's Leadership Fund Awards for Faculty and Staff Excellence is seeking nominations through Feb. 23.
For more than six years, The President's Leadership Fund (PLF) has provided San Diego State University with the flexible resources to respond quickly to strategic opportunities, pursue innovation and reward excellence.
In addition to these opportunities, The PLF has created a new type of investment: The President's Leadership Fund Awards for Faculty and Staff Excellence.
Recognizing campus leaders
According to SDSU President Stephen L. Weber, establishing this award is a natural evolution of The PLF's work.
"Since its inception, the PLF has displayed its commitment to rewarding deserving faculty and staff members, and that is precisely what this investment will accomplish," Weber said.
"Investing in SDSU's 'Minds that move the World' will help us retain the stellar teacher-scholars and dedicated staff members who enrich our students' experiences, contribute ground-breaking, application-oriented research and are deeply and meaningfully engaged in the community."

The PLF is now accepting nominations for up to five awards of $5,000 each, which the recipients must re-invest in their important work at San Diego State.
