Petals & Pots will be closed until further notice

Amidst the rush of these first busy days of the fall semester, there is one on-campus hot spot that has remained closed.

Mary Ann Lind, owner of Petals & Pots, sadly and unexpectedly suffered a stroke at the end of August. Lind is now in the process of slowly recuperating in rehabilitation.

Serving SDSU for nearly 10 years, Lind has become a beloved friend of Aztec Shops and the SDSU community. Aztec Shops is saddened by this turn of events, but optimistic she will make a full recovery.

Assistance with medical costs

Lind’s unexpected illness has sadly proven to be quite costly and has found her with inadequate medical insurance. Donations are being accepted to help cover her medical expenses.

Due to the outpouring of requests for donations for Lind already, Samantha Cope, Lind’s sister, established an account on behalf of Lind at U.S. Bank. Lind and her family are very grateful to those who have donated already.
