Weekly Farmer's Market Introduced
Each Thursday, a farmer's market will be held on Campanile Walkway.
After a successful first run on Earth Day 2009, SDSU will host a weekly farmer's market each Thursday on Campanile Walkway. The cash-only market, located between Love Library and Hepner Hall, will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The market will feature eight to 10 vendors, with hopes to eventually increase the number to 20. While vendors will sell fruits and vegetables, prepared food and ready-made food items will also be available.
Customers are advised to bring their own bags and to provide feedback at the Enviro-Business Society's booth. If the farmer's market is successful, it will be continued during the spring semester.
