New Faces, Same Great Store
The on-campus Grainger store has new staff members.
The on-campus Grainger store has made some exciting changes to its staff. SDSU alumnus Steve Anderson will stay on as the senior sales team lead, while Nick Rivaldi and John Forby pursue growth opportunities within Grainger. The new staff has a great history with Grainger and a stellar track record in customer service.
New staff members
Led by new Assistant Branch Manager Claudia Navarro, the new sales staff, including Yuri Sanchez-Hislop and Jeannine Silva, is working with Anderson to promote a great customer experience and fresh ideas to bring a family feel to SDSU’s Grainger resource.
The account management team stays the same with John Kanaskie (858-342-7607) and Erick Covarrubias (619-250-4671) providing solutions and partnerships for all on the SDSU campus.
Fun facts about Grainger's staff
On top of being great resources in the store, there are some other fun facts customers might not know about the Grainger team at SDSU—until now!
Navarro, assistant branch manager, has been with Grainger since 1998 and was part of a regional training team for two years. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters and watching them play softball. She also enjoys wine tasting.
Anderson has been with Grainger since 1992. He helped open the SDSU branch 5 years ago. Anderson also enjoys photography.
Silva has been with Grainger since 1997, and worked at seven different Grainger locations including financial services. She enjoys spending time with her family and going to the beach.
Sanchez-Hislop has been with Grainger since 2003 and has worked at every branch in San Diego County. He is a multicultural foodie and has a passion for sports cars.
