Zipcar Launches at SDSU
The popular car-sharing service is now available to SDSU students, faculty and staff.
A greener way to travel has zoomed onto campus.
SDSU students, faculty and staff can now save money on transportation while reducing their carbon footprint by enrolling with Zipcar, the world’s largest car-sharing service.
Growing interest
Students have already signed up for Zipcar, and Mack expects many more memberships as e-mails go out to faculty and staff this week.
He also pointed out that this is an important initiative for parents sending their children to SDSU.
“It’s a big thing for parents to hear that their students will have access to a car, and that they can save money.”
