In one of the most anticipated early match-ups of the men's basketball season, No. 25 San Diego State defeated No. 12 Gonzaga in dramatic fashion, 79-76 Tuesday night at the McCarthey Athletic Center, where the Bulldogs were 77-5 since 2004.
Senior forward Billy White led an inspired Aztecs performance and earned SDSU NewsCenter Star of the Game honors.
