Tunnel of Oppression Tackles Discrimination Nov. 1417

The award-winning, annual event opens visitors' eyes to the many ways people discriminate against each other.

Visitors to the Tunnel of Oppression will learn about discrimination against the homeless, as well as other groups.

Learn about different forms of discrimination at the Tunnel of Oppression, where visitors' eyes are opened to the many ways people discriminate against their fellow human beings.

Visitors will learn about:
  • Ableism
  • Anti-semitism
  • Body image issues
  • Domestic violence and relationship abuse
  • Gender roles/sexism
  • Poverty and race issues
  • Sexual assault and rape
  • Religion
  • Sexual orientation
An annual event, this year's Tunnel of Oppression will be held in the Tula Community Center next to Tenochca Hall.

Dates and times include:

  • 3–8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 14
  • 4–9 p.m., Monday–Wednesday, Nov. 15–17

Admission is free, with tickets assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
