“It’s great — a lot of hard work and it’s finally over,” he said in response to his impending graduation.
After answering the trivia question correctly, he received a pair of tickets to this week’s big game. He’ll take a friend who’s currently a student at Brigham Young University; whether or not his friend will cheer for the Aztecs is unknown.
“He might have a problem wearing red and black,” Hoffelder said with a smile.
Regardless, Hoffelder will have plenty of other Aztecs to cheer with at the game — and in his family. His parents, grandfather and uncle all attended SDSU.
