Prior to the 2010 Poinsettia Bowl, San Diego State University president Stephen L. Weber challenged the superintendent of the U.S. Naval Academy to a friendly wager: If the Aztecs beat the Midshipmen, Vice Adm. Michael Miller would have to wear an SDSU jersey and hat on campus for a day, and vice versa.

Well the Aztecs won, 35-14. And Vice Adm. Miller is a man of his word. President Weber's office recently received pictures of Miller wearing Aztec gear in the middle of the Naval Academy campus and in his office.

"It was all in good fun," Weber said.

"But I'm glad it was him wearing black and red on campus, rather than me wearing blue and gold. We have so much respect for our military, it would have been an honor to wear their colors. But speaking as a fan, I'm really glad it worked out this way."
