Statement Regarding Death of SDSU Student
In light of the news of the death of San Diego State University student Lilly Blunt, the university offers the following statement:
“We are deeply saddened by the news of the death of one of our students Sunday. This is a tragic loss to our community and we hope that all of our students, faculty and staff will come together to support each other during this difficult time. Our thoughts are with her family and friends as they try to come to grips with these events.”
Lilly Blunt was a student in SDSU’s School of Nursing, in the College of Health and Human Services. She graduated with her undergraduate degree in nursing in summer 2009. She was admitted to the graduate program in the school of nursing for fall 2012.
