It’s that time of year to learn about benefit plan design changes. You can:

  • change your CalPERS medical plan and/or CSU dental plan
  • enroll in a health plan if you do not currently have coverage
  • drop your existing health coverage
  • add new dependents to your health coverage
  • delete existing dependents from your health coverage
  • enroll in Flexible Spending Accounts (HCRA & DCRA)

The Open Enrollment Frequently Asked Questions flyer contains answers to some of our most commonly asked questions.

The benefits website contains important open enrollment information, such as the CalPERS Health Plan rates and benefit plan changes effective Jan. 1, 2013.

All benefit changes during open enrollment must be made online through e-Benefits Self Service. Benefits representatives are available to assist in the HR lobby Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. The Benefits Open Enrollment period is from Sept. 10-Oct. 5.

If you would like to continue participating in the Health Care Reimbursement Accounts and/or Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, you must re-enroll for the 2013 plan year during the Open Enrollment period through e-Benefits Self Service.
