Rhyne Assumes New Role
Lawrence Rhyne was named the chair of the Department of Management.
The College of Business Administration at San Diego State University announced that SDSU management professor, Lawrence Rhyne, has been named chair of the college’s management department.
About Rhyne
Rhyne, who earned his Ph.D. from Northwestern University, is an associate professor of management at SDSU. He specializes in international strategy and business plan development and has been with SDSU’s management department since 1987.
"I am honored to have been selected to the position of SDSU’s management department chair," Rhyne said. "I am personally committed to providing our students with an outstanding learning environment and I look forward to contributing to the continued progress and development of the department and the college.”
Gangaram Singh, interim dean of SDSU’s College of Business Administration, said, "Rhyne has served our college and university for many years and this appointment is a testimony to his dedicated service."
