He is currently the director of investor relations and marketing at Link Revenue Resources which helps hospitals manage their debt.  He also works part time as DJ who has maintained residencies at several local venues, including Stingaree, Belo, On Broadway, Red Circle, Se' Hotel, Kin Lounge and Sway.

Tell us the highlights of your professional career. What are your proudest achievements?

After transferring from Pepperdine to SDSU to join the baseball team, I graduated with a degree in public administration. I didn’t really know what I wanted to do, so I took a step back to regroup then took an internship with Morgan Stanley.  It was not really my calling, so I ended up getting a job at small record label for a while.  After doing that for a bit I got my current career at Link Revenue Resources. I think most of the time people fall into their career like I did.

What is your favorite college memory?

I think my most amazing time was when there was a concert for Earth Day at the Open Air Theatre.  I felt like everyone was getting along and it was just a wonderful experience.  I also remember going to a lot of athletics games; especially when Marshall Faulk was in Aztec football. Many of my other memories surround my fraternity Sigma Phi Epsilon.

Who was your favorite professor and/or what was your favorite class?

Ric Epps really set boundaries for his class, and especially athletes, which helped me to understand professionalism in my daily life.  He was just a classy guy overall.  I had wonderful conversations with Professor Robert Stock about a variety of different topics.  He was a very charismatic man and had lots of experience and information to pass on to his students.

If you were to give current SDSU students some advice, what would you say?

Go to as many free events on and off campus as possible.  It helps to push your boundaries and create a network of people you can call on.  Don’t be shy.  Finally keep your eyes open for opportunities that present themselves. Get as much as you can out of your college days.

What are you currently reading? What is your favorite book?

Since I had been hearing so much about "50 Shades of Grey" I decided to give it a try.  I don’t have too much time to read books so I usually listen to them on tape.  I have started No Easy Day.

What is your passion?

Music, watching sports, fishing, playing guitar, DJ’ing but I think my biggest passions are my two dogs and SDSU.

What is your motto?

Keep your mind open and give people a shot.  It is very easy to get along with people just don’t be a doormat.

If you won the lottery, what would you do with your winnings?

Save for kids and plan for my future.  I would also like to donate to SDSU so they are about to build a facility especially for basketball.  I even know where I would put it!

Any other thoughts?

SDSU is a very unique experience for a student to see a variety of different people are things to do. The college experience is what you make of it so enjoy it. I wouldn’t have changed a thing!
