I chose SDSU because I love the atmosphere on campus. People are just more happy and friendly here compared to other campuses I have visited. In addition, SDSU is a great balance between academics and a social life.

2. What inspired you to declare your major?

I chose to be a Public Health/PreMed Major because I love helping and saving people and I want to make a difference by providing care to everyone. I believe in the preventive approach (public health) and treating the patients to help them make a full recovery.

3. What is the best piece of advice you ever received?

To take a break and think of yourself. I am constantly thinking of others and overwhelming myself with various
projects, organizations, etc that I forget to take care of myself and my health. Everyone needs to realize that it is okay to be selfish sometimes because it is needed to make ourselves better.

4. What are your future goals?

I want to be a pediatrician.

5. What is the first website you look at every day?

I want to lie and say it is not Facebook, but it is. It is something so easy to check as soon as you wake up!

6. What experience at SDSU has changed your life the most?

The experience that changed by life the most was joining Delta Zeta Sorority. Being apart of a sorority
has allowed me to grow into the person I am today and better myself academically, professionally, and socially. Many opportunities were opened for me especially being able to be part of the Homecoming Court. It was such an honor to have even been chosen to be on such a prestigious court with the leaders of the school.

7. What is the most interesting or surprising thing about you?

I am a San Diego native and I can not swim.

2. What city would you like to visit or visit again?
