The Campaign for SDSU has reached $490 million.
The Campaign for SDSU is the university’s first-ever comprehensive fundraising campaign.
It was launched to create new opportunities for student success and to help SDSU continue to develop as a leading public research university.
The Campaign recently reached a new milestone, with more than $490 million raised of the $500-million goal.
The following are some of the gifts received in addition to many others that support all areas of the SDSU campus.
Charles W. Hirst has signed a Letter of Intent for a bequest of $99,720 to support endowed scholarships for the MESA program.
Athletics has received a gift of $25,000 from Roger Van Wyk.
The Jack in the Box Foundation is supporting SDSU's Diversity and Equity Scholarship fund with a gift of $10,000.
3-M Company has made two gifts totaling $31,000 to support the 3M Frontline Sales and Management Program in the College of Business Administration.
About the Campaign
Through the Campaign for SDSU, the university will move forward with strategic investments in people and programs.
Private funding is needed to attract and retain top faculty, support innovative programs and assist talented students through scholarships.
