San Diego State University's annual Homecoming Week is set to run from Nov. 2 through 8, and the Homecoming Steering Committee is hosting an official Homecoming T-shirt design contest.

The 2014 theme was selected as "Ignite the Night," an ode the KGB Sky Show following the Homecoming game, and to recognize the Aztecs’ fiery passion throughout Homecoming week.

The contest is open to all students, faculty, staff, alumni and Aztec fans. Design submissions will be accepted until 4 p.m. Aug. 12.

T-shirt design competition

All designs will be printed on a black shirt, and must incorporate this year's Homecoming theme and use Aztec colors, red, black or white. The SDSU Homecoming Committee has the right to modify or adapt the winning design as needed for purposes necessary to the screening and printing process or other needs.

The winning design will be chosen based on creativity, adherence to the theme and Aztec pride.

Submitting design

Participants should submit a hard copy of a design to the Associated Students office on the third floor of the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Designs can also be submitted to Associated Students via e-mail.

Submissions including the SDSU logo must use the updated primary logo and logotype found in the Athletics Style Guide.
