Cultural Commencement Ceremonies
SDSU will host several cultural graduation events.
Each year, departments, clubs, organizations and affinity groups host graduation celebrations. The events are hosted to bring friends, family and the community together to celebrate the rich diversity of SDSU and its graduates.
"This is one of many ways our SDSU community comes together to celebrate our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion," said SDSU Chief Diversity Officer Aaron Bruce. "Celebrations for students of different identities and expressions highlights their accomplishment and uniqueness. Students get the opportunity to commence their time at SDSU with their peers, family, friends and community members by their side."
