Rachael Stalmann, lead employment coordinator in the San Diego State University Center for Human Resources, is an Aztec All-Star and recently earned the honors to prove it.

Stalmann was among three HR professionals from across the California State University system to be recognized by the Chancellor’s Office as an HR All-Star.

The Chancellor’s Office created the HR All-Star Awards to recognize outstanding HR individuals and teams across the CSU system. Awardees provided significant improvement to the quality or efficiency of an HR process or program, collaborated to resolve an ongoing problem or improve a process, and/or demonstrated consistent outstanding service in HR programs or activities.

Stalmann’s award, presented by CSU Vice Chancellor of Human Resources Lori Lamb, recognized her contributions in process improvement with new employee pre-boarding, student employment and use of EchoSign for the Center for Human Resources. Stalmann was also highlighted as a “go-to expert” within the Center for Human Resources and someone who provides consistent, excellent support and service to the SDSU community.

Stalmann has been a member of the Center for Human Resources team for nine years. She leads the provision of customer service at the center’s front desk and provides key support in records management, employment and classification, and employee and organization development.
