Diversity Award Winners Announced

Five awards honoring global diversity will be presented at the ceremony.

The annual San Diego State University Diversity Awards are presented to student organizations, faculty, staff, alumni and community partners for their outstanding contributions to diversity and social justice. These awards serve as an opportunity for the university community to come together and celebrate its long-standing commitment to diversity.

"The daily efforts and collaboration of people from across our campus continue to create an inclusive environment for everyone," said SDSU Chief Diversity Officer Aaron Bruce. “Our diversity award recipients demonstrate a commitment to diversity and social justice on the SDSU campus."

Diversity Award Recipients

Award recipients exhibit several qualities, including a commitment to inclusion and leadership that fosters positive interaction among people of different lifestyles, cultural backgrounds and identities.

The following organization and individuals will be honored at the awards ceremony:
The ceremony will run from 3:30-5 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, in Montezuma Hall in the Conrad Prebys Aztec Student Union.
