The San Diego State University football team will play host to San José State on Oct. 20 in its annual Homecoming game at SDCCU Stadium. The game is set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. PT.

The Aztecs have won five straight games against the Spartans by a combined score of 196-54. Additionally, SDSU has won four of its last six Homecoming games. SDSU and San José State last met in an SDSU Homecoming game on Nov. 8, 1997 with SDSU downing SJSU, 48-21.

Additional promotions and giveaways will be released in the coming weeks.

SDSU finished 2017 with a 10-3 record, its school-record third consecutive season with at least 10 victories. The Aztecs are one of just seven schools in the nation to win at least 10 games in three straight seasons, joining Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Wisconsin. SDSU is scheduled to return seven starters on offense and seven on defense, along with its kicker and punter.

SDSU is accepting new account deposits on 2018 season tickets through the Aztec Ticket Office, while current season-ticket holders can also renew their tickets for the 2018 campaign. Fans can purchase tickets through GoAztecs.com, over the phone by calling 619-283-7378, or by visiting SDCCU Stadium's Window E between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. PT.

Earlier this year, SDSU announced its 2018 schedule. Game times and television arrangements, including moves to non-Saturdays, will be announced at a later date. SDSU’s non-conference home schedule next year includes games against Sacramento State (Sept. 8), Arizona State (Sept. 15) and Eastern Michigan (Sept. 22).
