An important opportunity to positively impact students, faculty, research and important programming at San Diego State University returns Tuesday, March 9.

SDSU’s Day of Giving, once again sponsored by PostalAnnex, is a celebration of the impact of philanthropy across the university.

The one-day fundraising event enriches the student experience and provides access to initiatives that help each student achieve their goal of earning a college degree.

“The culture of philanthropy at SDSU is well established,” said Associate Director of Communications and Fundraising Zackary Albrecht (’17).  “The generosity of donors in the SDSU community has created new opportunities and made a lasting impact for students, faculty and staff. The university's Day of Giving is a tradition we look forward to as a reaffirmation of support for all the great things the university makes possible.”

During the 2019 Day of Giving, more than 1,800 members of the SDSU community contributed to 30+ programs and initiatives.

This is an opportunity for members of the SDSU community to support their favorite campus initiatives and programming, including Adapted Athletics, California’s first competitive, collegiate-level adaptive athletics program; the SDSU Love Library; the Black Resource Center; and various SDSU athletics programs like SDSU baseball
