San Diego State Athletics has surpassed 12,500 season tickets sold for the upcoming 2022 football season according to Director of Athletics John David Wicker. The milestone comes as a virtual 3D seat map has been released to the public.

The virtual 3D seat map of Snapdragon Stadium allows fans to take a tour of the seats before reserving season tickets. Fans can peruse available seating or check out where their season tickets will be for the inaugural season in 2022.

"We are thrilled to have passed the 12,500 season-ticket mark for Snapdragon Stadium," Wicker said. "The excitement is real and now we are excited to add yet another enhancement to our ticket selling process. The new virtual 3D map will allow our fans the ability to see what seats are still available and to take a virtual 360-look at any available seat in the stadium. We are striving to create the best fan experience in San Diego and this is yet another one of those enhancements. Lock up your seats now for the season opener on September 3!"

Season-ticket sales began in September 2020 coinciding with the opening of the Snapdragon Stadium Experience Center located in Mission Valley. To date Founders Suites, Luxury Suites, Loge Boxes and the 800-plus person West Club are sold out. Club Seating, meanwhile, is over 80 percent sold and is expected to sell out before the 2022 opener with Arizona on Sept. 3. Season tickets are still available in the Field Club featuring a 50-yard line player's tunnel and the East Club.

Priority and Reserved Seats were released in October 2021 and certain seating options are already beginning to sell thru. Priority and Reserved Seats have access to great social gathering areas along the east and north concourse as well as local restaurant partners like The Crack Shack, Hodad's, The Taco Stand, Cali BBQ, Everbowl, Best Pizza and Brew, Batch & Box, and Gaglione Brothers.

San Diego State finished the 2021 season ranked 25th in the final Associated Press Top 25 poll with a 12-2 record. Playing in its 99th season of football, SDSU had a school-record 12 victories and was one of just 10 programs nationally with at least 12 victories. Only four teams had more wins than the Aztecs, including national champion Georgia, and CFP teams Alabama and Cincinnati. San Diego State played five teams who reached double-digit victories on the season, securing wins over Pac-12 Champion/Rose Bowl participant Utah (10-4), UTSA (12-2) and Air Force (10-3).

Season-ticket member benefits include merchandise discounts at the SDSU Bookstore, preferred single-game ticket access and pricing, priority to purchase on-site parking, and priority to other stadium events when available. Interest-free monthly payment plan options are intended to make the commitment as affordable as possible with season tickets starting as low as $35 per game.
