This year’s Homecoming comes with a lot to celebrate. It is the university’s 125th anniversary, the 100th season of SDSU football and the first homecoming to be held in the new Snapdragon Stadium at SDSU Mission Valley.

To celebrate, there are lots of opportunities to show off your SDSU history knowledge, light the town red, support the annual food drive, explore the new stadium and honor fallen SDSU veterans.

Meena Alexander, Executive Vice President of Associated Students, Co-Chair of the Homecoming Steering Committee, said she is especially excited for the crowning of the Homecoming Royal Court as well as the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) Yard Show

“The crowning of the royals is one of the most exciting moments of Homecoming. Watching students dedicate their time to leadership and service is empowering,” said Alexander, a senior majoring in psychology and minoring in leadership. “This year’s NPHC Yard Show is going to be one for the books. It’s taking place at Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theater. Very excited to see what our Black students have been working on.”
