Football: Aztecs Receive TV Details, Kick Times for 2023 Slate
The Aztecs are slated to host UCLA on Sept. 9 on CBS at 4:30 p.m. PT.
The San Diego State football team will have all 12 regular-season games nationally televised in 2023, the Mountain West announced Wednesday. Additionally, nine of the 12 games have kickoff times.
The Aztecs open the 2023 campaign at Snapdragon Stadium against Ohio on Aug. 26 at 4 p.m. PT in a game set to be broadcast on FS1. SDSU will also play at Oregon State on Sept. 16 on FS1 at 12:30 p.m. PT. Other FOX Network games for San Diego State, which could be FOX, FS1 or FS2, without start times yet include Oct. 21 vs. Nevada, Nov. 4 vs. Utah State and Nov. 25 vs. Fresno State.
The Aztecs are also slated to host UCLA on Sept. 9 on CBS at 4:30 p.m. PT.
SDSU will appear six times on CBS Sports Network, including Sept. 2 vs. Idaho State (7:30 p.m. PT), Friday, Sept. 22 vs. Boise State (7:30 p.m. PT), Sept. 30 at Air Force (6 p.m. MT), Oct. 14 at Hawai'i (5 p.m. HT), Nov. 11 at Colorado State (5 p.m. MT) and Nov. 18 at San Jose State (7:30 p.m. PT).
The 11th Mountain West championship game will take place on Dec. 2 and will pit the top-2 teams against one another.
Five of San Diego State's first six games will be against teams that made a bowl game in 2022, including four 10-win programs in Ohio (10-4), Oregon State (10-3), Boise State (10-4) and Air Force (10-3).
The Aztecs finished the 2022 season with a 7-6 record and their streak of 13 consecutive years without a losing season is tied for the fifth-longest active streak in the country.
