Promotions on Tap for Saturday Against Idaho State
The first 10,000 fans to enter Snapdragon Stadium will receive a FREE SDSU beach towel.
The Aztecs are taking a 1-0 record into their second game of the season against Idaho State and San Diego State is providing a multitude of pregame festivities for fans to enjoy.
The parking lots at Snapdragon Stadium will open five hours before kickoff at 2:30 p.m. PT.
Aztec Village, presented by Snapdragon, opens three hours before kickoff at 4:30 p.m. PT and is free and open to the public. Located on the east side of the stadium, Aztec Village features a beer garden, DJ, big screen TV showing other college football games, a Kids Zone with a balloon artist and prize wheel, photo ops, and more. The men's basketball team will have members on site for photos from 5:40 p.m. to 7 p.m. with the team's trophies on display in Aztec Village.
When gates open, the first 10,000 fans to enter Snapdragon Stadium will receive a free SDSU beach towel. Season ticket holders have their first chance to pick up their free Aztec license plate frames.
Saturday's game is also SDSU Faculty/Staff Day, US Marine Corps Recognition, and both men's basketball and swim and dive will be recognized during the game for their tremendous 2023 seasons.
Prior to kickoff, the Aztecs will have their Warrior Walk led by football alumnus, Christian Chapman. Chapman is San Diego State's all-time leader in quarterback wins with 24 from 2015-18. Chapman quarterbacked the Aztecs to back-to-back Mountain West titles in 2015 and 2016, earning most valuable offensive player honors for his play in the 2015 Mountain West Championship. Chapman finished his career third in program history with 35 quarterback starts, fourth with a .686 winning percentage, fifth with a 59.9 completion percentage and sixth with a 144.1 pass efficiency rating, while throwing 39 touchdown passes and just 12 interceptions.
