Seven Aztecs earn Academic All-WAC honors
It’s the second year in a row at least seven Aztecs were honored for their academic achievements.
Seven members of the San Diego State men’s soccer team were named Academic All-WAC honorees, the conference office announced Friday morning. It’s the second year in a row at least seven Aztecs were honored for their academic achievements.
To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s contests.
Rommee Jaridly was honored for the third straight year after being named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll the previous two seasons. Reid Fisher and Ulises Esquivel also earned consecutive honors.
Austin Brummett, Djibril Doumbia, Cianole Nguepissi and Terence Okoeguale were also honored by the conference.
