Wednesday, March 12 brings SDSU's ninth annual Day of Giving, a one-day event that brings together Aztec alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and friends in a collective effort to support impactful programs across SDSU.

Participants can choose to contribute to any area that resonates with them, or support the student success initiatives featured by each university college and department. It’s a chance to make a difference in areas ranging from scholarships to athletics to research.

Last year, donors came together to raise funds for campus programs including gifts for student scholarships, the Aztec Parent Fund, and The Cap & Gown Fund, which sponsors commencement regalia and supports professional development opportunities for graduates.

This year, supporters also have the opportunity to become an advocate to help spread the word by adding their own story and tracking personal clicks, gifts, and dollars raised by their efforts in real time.

SDSU Day of Giving is about more than just donations — it's a celebration of shared values and the power of giving. The event emphasizes that each gift, of any amount, has a lasting impact on the university and plays a crucial role in shaping the future of SDSU students.
