Aerospace Engineering
Bachelor of Science
About the Major
Take flight as an aerospace engineer! The aerospace industry, the second largest industry in our country, is one of the largest employers of engineers. Our graduates find opportunities for employment in large aircraft companies, general aviation manufacturers, or government aerospace-related laboratories. Graduates are also qualified to continue their education at the graduate level or to accept entry level positions in several nonaerospace fields.
Program Highlights
The curriculum of our aerospace engineering major is geared towards the design of a vehicle capable of transportation through the atmosphere and space, on land and in the sea, and provides coursework in the major sub-disciplines of aerodynamics, structures, flight mechanics, stability and control, propulsion and design.
