About the Major
Learn about the underlying foundations for all areas of development including physical, cognitive, motor, social-emotional and language. You'll also gain special skills, experiences, and knowledge of the development (physical, psychological, emotional, social) of infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school-aged children, adolescents, and adults.
Program Highlights
The major offers specializations in child development or family development. Students can enter teaching credential programs (single/multiple subject, elementary, or secondary) upon graduation.
