San Diego State opens its 25th season of Mountain West play Friday night at Snapdragon Stadium against Boise State.

The Aztecs will play four and possibly five opponents who competed in the postseason in 2023 among 13 non-conference games.

San Diego State's Jalen Mayden rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns on Saturday to lead the Aztecs to a 36-28 victory over a pesky Idaho State squad at Snapdragon Stadium.

The first 10,000 fans to enter Snapdragon Stadium will receive a FREE SDSU beach towel.

San Diego State opens the season with a victory for the eighth time in the last 10 years.

Dates may change after the Mountain West broadcast partners select games they will broadcast.

SDSU enters it's 101st season of football, 55th at the Division I level and sixth under the direction of the 2011 National Coach of the Year, Brady Hoke, when it welcomes Ohio on Saturday.

The Aztecs kick off their season on Aug. 26 against Ohio at Snapdragon Stadium.

Of the graduating seniors, 15 student-athletes are already employed at companies such as Insight Global, San Diego Junior Golf Association, Fidelity Investments and Federated Insurance.

The Aztecs travel to Gonzaga this season and host the return game in Viejas Arena in 2024-25.
