Alumna and assistant professor Ana Dueas is SDSU's first-ever recipient of the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) Early Career Award, which will support her work in the Imperial Valley.

In partnership with the Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program, SDSU Imperial Valley opened its campus for young adults and foster care youth to learn about its diverse degree offerings.

Imperial County has one of the highest rates of childhood asthma in the entire state of California; this is likely due to its proximity to the Salton Sea.

The annual event is an opportunity for Imperial County high school students to connect with faculty, tour the campus, and learn more about the university's academic offerings and opportunities.
