About International Student Association (ISA)

We are an SDSU-recognized student organization. ISA plans and  coordinates a variety of programs and activities to enhance  international understanding and friendship, please check  our instagram page and our calendar to stay up to date on our upcoming events!

The International Student Association (ISA) at SDSU is dedicated to promoting international understanding and cultural awareness on campus and throughout the San Diego community. We achieve this by organizing social programs that create a supportive and welcoming network of globally-minded students and faculty from the U.S. and abroad. Through engaging events and initiatives, we aim to foster international goodwill and enrich the experiences of our diverse student body, particularly those with a passion for global issues. Additionally, ISA advocates for the interests of international students within the Associated Students Council, SDSU's student government.

Getting involved with the International Student Association (ISA) is a fantastic way to enhance your experience at SDSU and build lasting friendships. To stay informed about our upcoming events, be sure to follow us on Instagram. You can participate in or even host our weekly International Cultural Hour, a space for students to share about their culture and enjoy of delicious food. Join us for other exciting activities like the annual International Peace Village, potlucks, guest speakers, dances, bonfires, trips, and more.
