University President Adela de la Torre announced Thursday that SDSU will make a fair and equitable offer to San Diego city leaders at the Monday, Oct. 14 Council meeting.

SDSU President Adela de la Torre and Provost and Senior Vice President Salvador Hector Ochoa spoke to the hundreds in attendance.

The Draft EIR released by SDSU proposes mitigation efforts for traffic impacts around the Mission Valley project site.

The report is now available for public review and comment for a 60-day period.

The team will be responsible for designing and building the more than 80 acres of parks and open space that will be part of SDSU Mission Valley.

Team will plan, strategize and execute ticketing, premium sales, naming rights and founding partnerships.

All are invited to attend the April 11 inauguration and investiture of President Adela de la Torre, a once-in-a-generation event.

The announcement was made in conjunction with the City of San Diego's selection of their negotiation team.

The firm will design and build the expandable 35,000-capacity stadium to support collegiate football, professional and collegiate soccer, NCAA championship games, concerts and other events.
