Fees

Passport applications require two separate fees:

  1. FEE ONE: Paid to the U.S. Department of State and is payable only by check or money order
    • Please note the U.S. Department of State does not accept starter checks
    • The Application Fee is a non-refundable processing fee and is retained by the Department of State whether or not the passport is issued.
  2. FEE TWO: Paid to San Diego State University and is payable by cash, debit or credit. Personal checks are not accepted.
