Workshops
Faculty engagement is a core strategic priority of SDSU's comprehensive internationalization initiatives. Throughout the academic year, International Affairs offers personalized professional development, teaching effectiveness, and service workshops and training for faculty from all disciplines. The purpose of these workshops is to support the myriad ways faculty can incorporate global engagement and learning into their existing coursework and research, or propose new global programs.

Transborder Lunch and Learn 2023
When: Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 12:00-2:00 pm
Where: SDSU Faculty Staff Club
This event aims to connect SDSU faculty involved in transborder initiatives (research and/or teaching) with new faculty colleagues who are planning on doing so. Interested faculty can ask questions, hear about opportunities, and brainstorm ideas, and then have time for questions and discussion regarding transborder collaborations. The event will showcase the transborder work of our faculty members. The presentations are intended to provide context, guidance, and recommendations for faculty who may be thinking of transborder collaborations.
COLLABORATIVE ONLINE INTERNATIONAL LEARNING (COIL)
COIL is a pedagogical approach to virtual global learning in which faculty members at institutions in different countries work together to co-develop a shared component for their respective classes. Students enroll in the course, and earn credit, through their home institution and use technology to work across cultures on joint projects. COIL is a great way to internertionalize your course.
